This means that our makeup follows similar guidelines to that of the Paleo Diet. Each product that bears the paleo certified logo has undergone a strict auditing process to ensure that it free from legumes, dairy, gluten, grains and anything artificial and harmful. This is important for several reasons. One, it allows for honest transparency of our ingredients, so those folks with severe allergic reactions and autoimmune conditions know just what they are putting on their skin. Two, because it is a really good idea to limit or avoid unnecessary environmental toxins on our already burdened systems and oh boy does conventional makeup contain a whole slew of health harming and skin damaging ingredients. Three, it ensures our commitment to choosing organic whole superfood ingredients like MCT oil, probiotics and plant based ingredients that actually feed and nourish your skin... not just make it look good.

We are certified Paleo through the Paleo Foundation. In order to become certified, The Paleo Foundation audits every product and inspects every ingredient to ensure that the highest standards in the industry are being met and that each ingredient is free from soy, dairy, legumes, grains, gluten and anything artificial. Not everyone is granted permission to bear this label but those who do, have put a lot of work into earning it and we are super proud of that!
