No. We use Certified Organic Fractionated Coconut Oil (MCT oil) in our coconut containing products. This amazing oil has all of the skin-loving benefits of Raw Coconut Oil but without the potential of clogging your pores that can lead to breakouts. MCT oil is coconut oil that has had the heavy, long chain fatty acid removed, resulting in an oil that is lightweight, more shelf-stable, still full of healthy, skin-nourishing fatty acids and is much more easily absorbed.

Think of this as a creamy skin tint that offers light to medium coverage. Not a max coverage foundation. Less is more when applying this product. If you apply too much it will not function how it’s designed to and will sit on top of your skin rather than melting into your skin and becoming seamless.

If you tend to have oily skin we recommend skipping moisturizer altogether. This product is hydrating enough to keep your skin healthy and happy throughout the day.

Apply a light dusting of our primer + finishing powder before applying the Coconut Cream Foundation.

We love the double cleansing method. Double Cleansing is a 2-step process to wash your face and make sure you are removing ALL of the makeup and dirt while not stripping your skin. It works especially well for Araza’s healthy oil based makeup. 1st Cleanse: Use an oil based cleanser like a cleansing oil or balm (our Citrus Illuminating Raw Beauty Oil can double as an oil cleanser) to breakdown and remove makeup, sunscreen, dirt etc. Oil-based cleansers are effective because oil attracts oil, which helps to dissolve these impurities without stripping the skin of its natural oils. To use gently massage the oil into your face melting away makeup, then gently wipe away using a warm, wet wash cloth. 2nd Cleanse: After rinsing off the oil-based cleanser, the second step involves using a water-based cleanser. This can be your favorite gel, foam, cream or even bar cleanser. The water-based cleanser is designed to remove any remaining impurities, such as sweat and dirt, as well as any residue from the oil-based cleanser. Use your cleanser as directed. This step ensures that the skin is thoroughly cleaned, leaving it feeling fresh and ready for the next steps in your skincare routine.
