Coconut Oil has long been shunned as a health food due to its high content of saturated fatty acids. That is, until rather recently. Researchers, doctors and the likes of many health professionals are discovering the numerous benefits of the tropical fatty oil. Latest studies on 100% Natural Coconut Oil have shown it to be effective in promoting weight loss, reducing unhealthy cholesterol levels, reducing the risk of diabetes, boosting immunity, and preventing alzheimers.

- My hair: I slather coconut oil on my hair at night when I know I am going to wash it the next day. Typically after I shower, I will take a scoopful and let it melt right in my hands. Then I rub it through my hair from scalp to ends. You can braid your hair or loosely tie it up as it is an oil as it can be messy. You might even want to lay an extra sheet over your pillow if you are worried about the oil seeping through. The Coconut oil does several things: it serves as a hair conditioner, it helps to lock moisture into your hair preventing dryness, and it aids in reducing protein loss.
- My skin: Lotions can be absolutely terrible for you. They contain so many fillers, toxins, and petroleum based chemicals that clog pores, suffocate your skin and damage your health. Not to mention, many body lotions contain a large percentage of water which may initially feel like its doing the “moisturizing thing”; but once it dries your skin it’s left flaky and un-nourished. I use Coconut Oil in place of those nasty lotions instead. After exfoliating and showering, simply scoop a handful out of the jar and apply liberally all over your body. Coconut oil provides real moisture. It helps to strengthen underlying skin layers and leaves skin soft and supple.
